Created by a consortium of port authorities and security companies, Alfapass manages more than 100,000 certified port IDs. Each badge contains biometric data and is linked to the national crossroads bank. Access to ISPS-secured zones is only possible with a valid, active Alfapass badge — port bans are enforced in real time.
